We're excited to share some good news from one of our very own, Taneora Martin, our Liaison Arborist at Waikato Tree Services, who represented us exceptionally at last weekend's Waikato/Bay of Plenty Regional Climbing Competition.
He showcased remarkable skill and determination, earning noteworthy placings in a competitive field of over 31 participants. Against stiff competition, he stood out and achieved some impressive results:
5th Place Overall: He secured 5th place in the rankings, competing against regional and out-of-region climbers.
4th Place in Overall Regional Rankings: His performance in the regional competition earned him fourth place.
3rd Place in Men's Regional Rankings: He demonstrated his expertise by clinching 3rd place in the men's division.
These achievements highlight Taneora's dedication, talent, and hard work. His success has earned him another opportunity to represent us at the upcoming National Climbing Competition, scheduled to take place in Auckland later this year. While the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, we eagerly anticipate his continued success on the national stage.
